A French scientist has gone renegade and taken a top secret weapon called Firestorm with him, which he is threatening to sell to the highest bidder. Now he has ended up in the UK, and MI5 is forced to work with French Intelligence. But the British want the technology. They have to steal the technology without the French finding out, using an agent that if caught has no affiliation to Five. But there is a burglary at Harry's flat which puts the operation in jeopardy. Or does it?

Les services secrets français souhaitent obtenir la collaboration du MI-5 afin de mettre la main sur un expert en ballistique qu'ils soupçonnent de vouloir revendre la technologie de l'Eurofighter au plus offrant. Comme le savant s'est rendu en Angleterre, le MI-5 est le seul à pouvoir aider les Français. Mais Harry a une autre idée. Il a appris que l'expert a mis au point une technologie révolutionnaire qui pourrait intéresser le gouvernement anglais. Sous couvert de collaboration avec les Français, le MI-5 cherche à mettre la main sur le transfuge, sans considération pour l'alliance entre les deux pays...
