After stealing a large amount of money from a bank, a man is found crucified on the moors. The Treasury call in the team to investigate, but when Harry decides to take the mission further Danny's life is put in danger.

Le jour où deux milliards de dollars sont dérobés à Londres, le MI-5 est missionné par le gouvernement pour retrouver le voleur et son butin. Mais Harry, convaincu qu'on lui cache quelque chose, envoie Danny infiltrer la banque. Il semble évident qu'elle détient des secrets et bénéficie de la protection du gouvernement. L'implication de la CIA, qui s'intéresse au détournement de fonds destinés à des associations caritatives russes, renforce les soupçons du MI-5. Par ailleurs, le braqueur de la banque est retrouvé mort, à Hampstead. L'agence de renseignements britannique fait bientôt le lien entre ces divers événements...
