George figures that with all the bad luck she had while she was alive, things might even out in the afterlife. But death isn't like that.

George hat eine Pechsträhne: Ihr wird das Fahrrad gestohlen und dann wird sie auch noch beschuldigt, Büromaterial entwendet zu haben. Zu allem Überfluss wollen sich auch noch ihre Eltern scheiden lassen. Mason ist währenddessen vollauf damit beschäftigt, allen zu beweisen, dass er aufgehört hat zu trinken.

Le mauvais sort qui poursuivait George de son vivant ne s'est pas arrêté une fois morte. Elle apprend tout d'abord que ses parents ont l'intention de vendre la maison dans laquelle elle a grandi, puis elle se fait subtiliser sa bicyclette. Ensuite, à l'agence, elle découvre qu'on la soupçonne de voler des fournitures. Daisy doit s'occuper de récupérer l'âme d'un bijoutier. De son côté, Mason tente de ne pas montrer que son alcoolisme refait surface...
