Returning to L.A. proves to be a challenge when Brenda's witness remains hesitant, causing her to be creative. The fallout left behind in Atlanta leaves Brenda's parents picking up the pieces while Fritz becomes buried underneath all the stress.

A la suite d'événements imprévisibles, le suspect Wesley est ramené à Los Angeles dans un mobile home conduit vaillamment par la mère de Brenda, entouré de Brenda, Fritz, Flynn et Provenza. Tout au long du voyage, Wesley oppose un mutisme aux questions de Brenda, qui peine à savoir qui avait commandité le hold-up. A bout de patience, Brenda utilise une tactique pour agir sur la corde sensible de Wesley, et finira par le faire avouer. Informés d'un nouvel hold-up, l'équipe se prépare à cueillir les truands, mais l'issue en sera plus dramatique que prévue...
