Their screenwriting debut, the feature film Paper Heart, won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. Charlyne Amanda Yi (* 4. Januar 1986 in Los Angeles, Kalifornien) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin, Komikerin, Musikerin und Autorin. Ihre Auftritte umfassen Musik, Zauberei, Spiele und oft auch die Beteiligung des Publikums. Ihr Debüt als Drehbuchautorin, der Spielfilm Paper Heart, wurde beim Sundance Film Festival 2009 mit dem Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award ausgezeichnet. Yi besuchte die University of California, Riverside. Unter anderem spielt Yi die Rolle der Dr. Chi Park in der Fernsehserie Dr. House. – Yi gründete gemeinsam mit Paul Rust die Band The Glass Beef. Ihr erstes Album trug den Titel The Farewell Album. Im Jahr 2009 trat die Band unter anderem im Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre im New Yorker Stadtteil Chelsea auf.
