Brian Keith Bosworth (born March 9, 1965), nicknamed "the Boz", is an American actor and former football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. A two-time Dick Butkus Award winner during his college football career at the University of Oklahoma, he also achieved notoriety for his outspoken comments and antics. He was selected by the Seahawks in the first round of the 1987 NFL supplemental draft, but his professional career was cut short by injury. After retiring as a player, he pursued an acting career. Brian Keith Bosworth ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler und ehemaliger Football-Linebacker, der drei Saisons lang in der National Football League (NFL) für die Seattle Seahawks spielte. Der unter dem Spitznamen „The Boz“ bekannte Bosworth spielte College Football für die Oklahoma Sooners, gewann zwei Dick-Butkus-Awards und den Orange Bowl 1986. Er wurde 1987 in der ersten Runde des NFL Supplemental Draft von den Seahawks ausgewählt, seine Profikarriere wurde jedoch verletzungsbedingt vorzeitig beendet. Nach dem Ende seiner Footballkarriere entschied sich Bosworth für eine Schauspielkarriere. Er spielte die Hauptrolle in dem Actionfilm „Stone Cold“ (1991) und hatte eine wechselhafte Filmkarriere mit Auftritten in mehreren Low-Budget-Produktionen, darunter „One Man's Justice“, der direkt auf DVD erschien. Im Jahr 2005 hatte er eine Rolle als einer der Footballspieler der Gefängniswärter in der Neuverfilmung des Adam-Sandler-Films „Spiel ohne Regeln“.
