From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. John Soursby Glover Jr. (born August 7, 1944) is an American actor, perhaps best known for a range of villainous roles in films and television, including Lionel Luthor on the Superman-inspired television series Smallville.

John Glover (* 7. August 1944 in Salisbury in Maryland) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler. Glover absolvierte das Towson State Teacher’s College der Towson University, später nahm er Schauspielunterricht am Beverly Hills Playhouse. Im Jahr 1995 gewann er den Preis Tony Award für seine Rolle im Theaterstück Love! Valour! Compassion!, das 1997 verfilmt wurde.
