Chris Bauer (born October 28, 1966) is an American actor. He is best known for his television work in The Wire, Third Watch, True Blood, Survivor's Remorse, The Deuce and the Apple TV+ original science fiction space drama series For All Mankind. He has also appeared on Broadway as Mitch in A Streetcar Named Desire. He has originated roles in plays by David Mamet, John Patrick Shanley and Jez Butterworth.

Chris Bauer (28. Oktober 1966 in Los Angeles, Kalifornien) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler. Bekannt wurde er durch seine Rolle als Frank Sobotka in der Serie The Wire (2003) sowie als Andy Bellefleur in True Blood (2008–2014). Bauer spielte in zahlreichen Filmen, darunter 8mm – Acht Millimeter (1999), Im Körper des Feindes (1997), High Fidelity (2000) und Flags of Our Fathers (2006). Im Fernsehen trat er in Serien wie Third Watch – Einsatz am Limit, Fringe – Grenzfälle des FBI, The Office, American Crime Story und For All Mankind auf. Neben seiner Schauspielkarriere ist er auch auf der Theaterbühne aktiv und spielte unter anderem in Endstation Sehnsucht am Broadway. Bauer ist mit Laura Bauer verheiratet und hat zwei Kinder.
