Drew Nichols is an editor and producer whose television career spans scripted drama, documentary series and reality programming. He graduated from Syracuse University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Television, Radio and Film. He began his career as an assistant editor, working on series including Cities of the Underworld (2007–2008), My First Home (2007), Miracle Quest (2007) and Clinically Wild: Alaska (2008), before moving into editing. Nichols established himself as an editor on projects including G Word (2008), Lock' n' Load (2009), Science of the Movies(2009–2010), Howe & Howe Tech (2010–2011) and Off Limits (2011–2013), where he served as lead editor. He later worked on Knife Fight (2013), How Human Are You? (2014) and 12 Monkeys (2016–2018), editing 14 episodes of the science-fiction drama created by Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett. His work with Matalas continued on Star Trek: Picard (2022–2023), where he edited nine episodes and also served as an associate producer, and later with VisionQuest (2026), editing three episodes. His other television credits include The InBetween (2019), Rise of Empires: Ottoman (2020), MacGyver (2020–2021) and American Cartel (2021), as well as assistant editing work on True Detective (2015) and Mad Men (2014–2015). Nichols' additional credits include Inside the CIA: Secrets & Spies (2026). His producing work includes executive producing Casper's Scare School (2009) and associate producing Star Trek: Picard (2023).
