Yaël Boon (née Harris) is a French–Swiss actress, director, film producer and screenwriter. Boon has appeared in several notable French language films including Welcome to the Sticks (2008) and Supercondriaque (2014). She has also worked on the production side of film, in 2010, she was a writer for Nothing to Declare and in 2016 produced Ma famille t'adore déjà. She is multilingual and speaks five languages: French, English, German, Spanish and Hebrew. In 2003, she married French comedian Dany Boon, who converted to Judaism (her faith). Yaël Hamidou, dite Yaël Boon, née Yaël Harris le 23 juin 1980 à Berne, en Suisse, est une mannequin, directrice artistique, metteuse en scène, photographe, scénariste et actrice suisse d'origine portugaise. Elle est l'épouse de l'humoriste français Dany Boon avec qui elle a eu trois enfants. Elle rencontre l'humoriste français Dany Boon en 2002 et elle n'hésite pas à quitter son pays natal pour le rejoindre à travers la France dans sa carrière artistique et se marie à l'âge de 23 ans le 26 décembre 2003. La même année, elle réalise le reportage photo qui figure sur le livre inspiré de la pièce de son époux qui s'intitule La Vie de chantier. Elle a vécu pendant cinq ans à Los Angeles pour le remake de Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis en tant que directrice artistique, le projet étant annulé par la suite. Depuis 2014, elle vit actuellement à Londres avec son époux et ses trois enfants.
